CuddlyNest reaches 25,000 property listings in Scandinavia

Orlando, Florida – We are pleased to announce another step towards our 2021 inventory rollout today with our milestone of 25,000 properties in the Scandinavian region.

The properties include hotels, holiday homes and hostels in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.

“We see the positive development of the tourism industry as an opportunity to invest and expand our partner network in this market,” says CuddlyNest co-founder and COO Ritesh Raj.

The properties are managed by major regional players such as Scandic Hotels and Nordic Choice Hotels, as well as global leaders such as InterContinental Hotels, Hilton, Marriott and others.

Scandinavia is of particular interest as it tops the ranking for global sustainable tourism according to Euromonitor International’s Sustainable Travel Index, which rates cities on environmental sustainability, social sustainability, economic sustainability, risk, sustainable demand, sustainable transport and sustainable accommodation.

If you look at the GDP per capita, countries in all of Scandinavia are among the wealthiest countries in the world, which enables steady development in the tourism industry.

An important part of our bold expansion plans is paying special attention to towns and villages with high untapped potential.

No wonder that the region is particularly popular for nature-based tourism and adventure travel. Within the region, Denmark currently leads the ranking for inbound stays, followed by Sweden.

CuddlyNest currently has over 4 million entries and we expect to reach 5 million by the end of 2021. Our ultimate goal is to include listings in virtually every habitable city in the world.

“I’m so proud of the speed at which our inventory has grown over the past year,” added Ritesh. “We will provide additional updates for our other target regions as we continuously reach our milestones.”

We continued to work with security measures throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, introduced ad hoc features such as a disinfection filter and incentives for property managers to offer guests free cancellation.

Today’s news follows other recent announcements of our ambitious portfolio expansion plan, including 95,000 properties in the MENA region and 65,000 properties in India.
