Open LMS Achieves Schooling Competency Standing

Open LMS receives educational competency status from Amazon Web Services

INDIANAPOLIS, IN– Open LMS, part of the Learning Technologies Group (LTG), announced today that it has achieved educational literacy status from Amazon Web Services (AWS). As the world’s largest commercial Moodle ™ provider, Open LMS receives this award which recognizes its technical capabilities and proven solutions for success that support mission-critical workloads for higher education, K-12 primary / secondary, research and publishing clients.

Achieving the AWS Education Competency differentiates Open LMS as an AWS partner that has a proven track record of customer success by delivering specialized solutions that align with AWS architecture best practices to support the academic experience of teachers and learners and / or improve the operational needs of administrators. To receive the award, AWS Partners must have extensive AWS expertise and undergo an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.

“Open LMS is proud to achieve AWS Education Competency status,” said Phill Miller, general manager of Open LMS. “Our team members, including those who joined us from eCreators and eThink Education, have an incredible amount of expertise to best support our customers’ hosted learning environments. This award shows their commitment and dedication to helping educational institutions and organizations achieve their goals by leveraging the agility of AWS. “

AWS enables scalable, flexible and cost-effective solutions from start-ups to global companies. To help seamlessly integrate and deploy these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program, which customers can use to identify consultants and technology AWS partners with extensive industry experience and expertise.

Open LMS uses AWS to host Client Learning Management System (LMS) locations in a secure, flexible environment that supports their current goals and future innovations. AWS provides an effective solution for Open LMS clients around the world that guarantees security, availability, and scalability, and enables websites to be geographically hosted according to a company’s needs.
