JetBlue pronounces New York and Boston flights from Kansas Metropolis

  • JetBlue begins service in Kansas City.
  • Flights to Boston and New York City will begin March 27, 2022.
  • JetBlue’s arrival in Kansas City next spring will give the region a boost.

In April, JetBlue announced its intention to serve Kansas City. It’s now official and Kansas City will have a new airline in March 2022. Today JetBlue released flight schedules and began selling tickets for the non-stop service between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Boston-Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York -JFK International Airport (JFK). Flights to both markets will begin on March 27, 2022. Round-trip flights will initially be operated once a day.

“When JetBlue enters a new market, we keep cutting prices and introducing our award-winning service to a whole new group of travelers,” said Andrea Lusso, Vice President Network Planning at JetBlue. “We’re ready to do it again when we land in Kansas City next spring as we grow our presence in the Midwest while expanding our city networks in New York and Boston.”

“JetBlue’s arrival in Kansas City next spring will give the region a boost and bring more competition to two of the most popular destinations on the east coast,” said Pat Klein, director of the Kansas City aviation division.

JetBlue will serve new routes with new A220 aircraft.
