Holland America Line cancels Nieuw Statendam and Volendam European summer time cruises
Guests currently booked on canceled Nieuw Statendam and Volendam flights will be automatically switched to a cruise on Eurodam in the Mediterranean Sea in 2021, starting with the cruise from August 15 to October 30.
- Eurodam is maintaining the recently announced Mediterranean season until October
- Cruises to Nieuw Statendam and Volendam are canceled
- Rotterdam’s cruise season has been postponed
While Holland America Line continues to work with governments and port authorities in connection with the gradual resumption of the cruise, Holland America Line is canceling the rest of European voyages in summer 2021 on board the two ships Nieuw Statendam and Volendam. This applies to cruises scheduled from September to November and the Collectors’ Voyages (combined cruises) associated with these departures.
In addition, following an expected on-time delivery from the Fincantieri shipyard on July 30th, Rotterdam will remain in non-guest operations until its cruise from Amsterdam, Netherlands on September 26th. The plans for the baptism of Rotterdam are finalized.
