Organizations often treat learning as an event rather than a process. As an industry, we know that eLearning, videos and teacher-led training are just the beginning. To be effective, we need ways to support our workforce over time and to build competency through different approaches.

In this session we are going to talk about a budget friendly trend used in digital marketing that can easily be applied to on-the-job learning: email for continuous learning and support. We’ll explore how email can be used effectively for spatial learning and performance support. Learn professional tips for designing in this format and see a wide variety of use cases. As we explore the possibilities of email as a learning experience platform, you will learn about practical ways to implement this approach in your own organization.

In this session you will:

  • Learn more about the practical application of email courses to on-the-job learning
  • You can find examples of effective email courses here
  • Apply best practices when designing email courses
  • Discover the most common pitfalls in using email to support learning and performance
