United Airlines today announced more options for customers to enjoy the long awaited summer vacation by adding more than 400 daily flights to the July flight schedule and increasing service to reopened European destinations. This is United’s largest monthly flight schedule since the pandemic – United plans to fly 80% of its U.S. flight schedule compared to July 2019 – and bookings for summer travel are up 214% compared to 2020.

In the US, United Airlines will add new routes to Bozeman, MT. Orange County, CA; Raleigh, NC and Yellowstone / Cody, WY. The airline is also adjusting its flight times at its hubs at Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport to provide more convenient options for customers. Internationally, United is offering travelers more opportunities to visit Europe from New York / Newark by adding an additional weekly flight to Dubrovnik, Croatia and operating a larger plane to Athens, Greece.

As customers travel internationally, the United mobile app and website provide a comprehensive list of entry requirements for destinations around the world. United remains the only U.S. airline making it easier for customers to find, book, and upload COVID-19 tests and vaccination records through their website using their own digital platforms. The airline was also the first to offer international travelers an easy way to bring a CDC-approved test, self-manage abroad, and return home.

Domestic flight schedule July

“This July we are taking a huge step towards the pre-pandemic for our domestic network,” said Ankit Gupta, United’s vice president of domestic network planning and planning. “By adapting our banking structures at two major hub airports, we can offer our customers easy connections to destinations in the US so that they can start their vacation at times that are convenient for them.”

United is resuming and adding new routes. The domestic network will be expanded by 17% compared to the June flight schedule. United adds airline banks in Chicago and Washington DC to provide customers with convenient connectivity options. In Chicago, the airline will add two new banks for a total of nine airline banks and more than 480 daily departures around the globe. United is expanding its operations in Washington DC with a third bank and will operate more than 220 daily departures.
