The Islands of The Bahamas proclaims up to date journey and entry protocols

New rules apply to vaccinated travelers traveling to the islands of the Bahamas.

  1. As more people became fully vaccinated, the Bahamas announced new protocols for entry and travel.
  2. Bahamian nationals and residents who are fully vaccinated are exempt from COVID-19 testing requirements when traveling between the islands.
  3. International visitors from other countries who are fully vaccinated and have passed the two week immunity period are exempt from testing requirements for entry and travel between islands.

The Bahamas government announced updated public health measures and entry protocols for fully vaccinated travelers.

• Effective immediately, Bahamian citizens and residents who are fully vaccinated after receiving their second dose will be exempt from COVID-19 testing requirements when traveling to another island between the islands of New Providence, Grand Bahama, Abaco, Exuma and Eleuthera .

• Beginning May 1, 2021, international visitors traveling to the Bahamas from other countries that are fully vaccinated and past the two-week immunity period will be exempt from the test requirements for entry and travel between the islands.
