Thailand shortens COVID-19 quarantine for guests
The CCSA of Thailand agreed to reduce the quarantine period to 10 days for arrivals without a vaccination certificate and to 7 days for those with a vaccination certificate from April 1st
- From April 1st, visitors would no longer have to present a suitable flight document
- Visitors are only allowed to carry the free COVID-19 certificate
- A 14-day quarantine remains for arrivals from areas where the COVID-19 virus has mutated
Thai officials announced the decision to reduce quarantine times for foreign arrivals from April 1.
The spokesman for the Thai Center for COVID-19 Situation Management (CCSA) said that as of April 1, visitors would no longer be required to provide an airworthy document. You are only allowed to carry the COVID-19 certificate (CFC) with you.
At the CCSA meeting, it was agreed to shorten the quarantine period for arrivals without a vaccination certificate (VC) to 10 days and for people with VC to 7 days from April 1st.
The 14-day quarantine will remain in place for arrivals from areas where the COVID-19 virus has mutated.
In addition, quarantined arrivals are allowed to leave their rooms on condition that they adhere to public health measures. You could use fitness facilities, a swimming pool and an outdoor workout area, as well as purchase groceries and goods outdoors.
