Sky Airline CEO on COVID challenges in South America

IATA Regional Vice President for America, Peter Cerda, recently interviewed Jose Ignacio Dougnac, CEO of Sky Airline.

  1. At the age of 36, Jose Ignacio Dougnac became the youngest CEO of the South American aviation industry.
  2. The airline has identified safety, people and sustainability as the top three priorities for managing the COVID crisis.
  3. Sky Airline has worked side by side with the government to move goods and vaccines.

The meeting started with Peter Cerda, who thanked the CAPA – Center for Aviation for the opportunity to moderate the discussion with one of the emerging CEOs in Latin America. Sky Airlines CEO Jose Ignacio Dougnac took over the helm of the airline just under a year ago.
