St. Kitts & Nevis: No Limitations On Variety of Cruise Passengers

  • St. Kitts & Nevis today cleared cruise protocols.
  • Royal Caribbean’s August 2, 2021 blog was incorrect.
  • St. Kitts & Nevis has worked with all of its cruise partners to enable the successful return of cruise tourism.

St. Kitts & Nevis today made it clear that during the current gradual reopening of the cruise tourism sector, there are no capacity restrictions on the number of passengers that can enter the Federation on a cruise ship.

St. Kitts & Nevis: No limit on the number of cruise passengers

The Royal Caribbean blog dated August 2, 2021 with the message “St. Kitts recently announced a new policy that only allows 700 guests to visit their island per ship. The Allure of the Seas, which sails on August 8th, will now visit Philipsburg, St. Maarten instead, “was not exactly.

Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports, The Honorable Lindsay FP Grant, stated, “The cruise resumption protocols do not limit the number of passengers who can enter the Federation on a cruise ship. Royal Caribbean’s decision for the Allure of the Seas not to visit St. Kitts on its voyage on August 8, 2021 was not due to the maximum passenger capacity of 700 passengers per ship. ”

St. Kitts & Nevis has worked with Royal Caribbean and all of its cruise partners to facilitate the successful return of cruise tourism. The association looks forward to welcoming the Allure of the Seas and other cruise lines as it reopens.
