ITB Asia 2015 – CAPA Will Maintain an Business Outlook Discussion board

The “Fair for the Asian Travel Market” sheds light on the future of aviation at the 2015 event

ITB Asia, the “trade fair for the Asian travel market”, has announced that the CAPA – Center for Aviation, a leading company for global aviation knowledge, will host an industry forum this year. The eighth part of the leading regional trade fair, organized by Messe Berlin (Singapore), will take place from October 21 to 23, 2015 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Marina Bay Sands.

Over a hundred delegates are expected on the second day of the fair, October 22nd, for this first briefing of its kind at ITB Asia. The session provides a detailed industry outlook that includes CAPA’s financial and traffic projections for the global aviation industry, as well as the strategic outlook for the future of airline business models, hybrids and low-cost carriers (LCCs). There will also be a round table on ASEAN air travel liberalization and growth opportunities for the aviation industry, as well as a session on disruptive technologies and their impact on the sector.

With a number of high profile speakers attending the session, the CAPA briefing will examine the latest drivers of change that are essential to understanding the future of the aviation industry.

As the most international travel fair in the region, which offers delegates the most diverse conference offer, last year’s fair recorded 4,080 minutes of high-level conference programs and a record of 9,650 participants from 108 countries, an increase of 6% compared to 2013. Almost 750 exhibitors from 76 countries and 850 buyers from 62 countries.

ITB Asia is a partner event of TravelRave, a mega travel and tourism festival week organized by the Singapore Tourism Board.
