  1. Americans, Europeans, Chinese, Japanese are counting the days to re-explore the world in a past COVID-19 reality.
  2. Hash tags on Instagram are a good indication of where travelers might want to go again, and Niagara Falls along Yosemite Park and the Grand Canyon top the list
  3. Unfortunately, the Great Pyramids of Giza received the fewest hashtags on Instagram during the ongoing crisis, but judging by the popularity of the pyramids, that will change once the world reopens

Destinations like Kilimanjaro and Victoria Falls are less desirable for COVID tourism trips. This is the same league ready to climb the Instagram ladder like Komodo Island, Angel Falls in Venezuela or the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

The high number of vaccinations in the United States, along with the reopening of the country to domestic travel, has put American tourists back on the streets, and it is showing.

Iceland is also open to visitors and the Northern Lights have become a favorite among those who post on Instagram.

Mount Everest in Nepal remains a magical place for Instagram. An upcoming fashion show at the world’s highest peak will add a Guinness world record to this image.
